We feel Greene King are maximising their profits for their shareholders by putting in this ridiculous planning application and totally disregarding the village that they used to have a very close a relationship with.

I have today posted my letter to the planning people stating my _object_ion. Entirely agree with Jane and Kevin's view.

Note the Parish Council Meeting on Thursday 12 January 2006 with attendance from East Herts District Council presenting survey about Affordable Housing.

I am assuming you are referring to The Cock in Stocking Pelham? We may be moving to the village very soon and I wouldn't mind finding out what is planned for the pub. I went up there today and was shocked to see it was completely boarded up...looks like it's fit for demolition! I'm very much hoping this is not the case, anyone know what IS happening?
