Hello,

I am researching my family tree and have traced back to the Knightley family from Stocking Pelham. John Knightley b. abt 1799 married Sarah ? b. 1801 and had 4 children - William, Hannah, Fanny and Edward. Fanny married my great, great grandfahter George Green and moved to Clavering.

If anyone can help with my research, please let me know.

Hello Amanda.. I have read your message and John Knightly does ring a distant bell...Looking through my notes I have a marriage of John Knightly and Sarah Bayford December 1827 Stocking Pelham. I am descended from the Furneux Pelham Bayford's, and the Sarah I have information for possibly belongs to Henry who was the brother to my gt. grandfather x 5. I have not looked into this side of the family in depth as yet, but I think Sarah was born c1811 to Henry and Susanna Bayford.

That's really interesting. I'm going to have a go at _link_ing them up. I can't believe that all these Knightley's lived in the same village at the same time and weren't related!
