Warwick family in Furneux Pelham 4 Months ago
Hi to everybody

I have been researching for about 12 years and have just found this site.

My main research is the Warwick family. We were in Furneux Pelham from at least 1540 until the early 1600's when the family moved to the Hadhams. We later went to Farnham in Essex from the 1770's to the early 1900's.

I have an extensive data_base_ of Warwicks from 1540 onwards and we were residing at various locations on the Herts / Essex border. If you have a _link_ to the Warwick line I would be grateful if you would contact me. I am willing to share information.

Regards

Martin

Hi Martin
I too have been researching the Warwiicks and the list makes my head hurt!
im related by marriage to Alfred Warwick 1866 who was born we think in Stanstead and in 1901 was living in Birchangher, who married Mary Banks 1864 their children were Elsie P Warwick 1900 and Caroline Fanny Elizabeth Warwick 1892 (my husbands relation) who married Bertram George Harvey one of their children was Norah Elsie Mary Harvey 1915 my Husbands Grandmother! - phew!

Do you have the same information and can you go back further than Alfred? if so i would love to hear from you as i can fill in more info for you from Norah Harvey onwards if you are interested?

Look forward to hearing from you
Regards
Debbie

Hi Debbie

Thank you for getting in touch.

I have information on Alfred and Mary Ann Banks. To date I have taken Alfred's line back to the late 1700's. Although not connected to me on my tree, because I have not got back beyond the late 1700's with this line I have _link_ed Warwicks from the Herts / Essex border. It would appear that we are all related. The top of my tree is Robert Warwick born about 1540 at Furneux Pelham. From Robert there were descended some large Warwick families and I have not tracked them all, but I have connected the Stansted Warwicks as descendants of Robert. The Warwicks in Ashtead in Surrey descended from a Stansted Warwick boy in the mid 1700's. I have a very extensive data_base_ of Warwicks. My line started in Furneux Pelham with Robert, from there we went to the Hadhams and were there for the 1600's and early 1700's, then in 1776 my line went to Farnham in Essex, about 1800 a branch went back to Furneux Pelham and some of this branch later to London. We were at Farnham until the early 1900's. While all this was going on, other related branches were at Stansted, Birchanger and other villages surrounding Bishops Stortford.

Yours is the first reply to my enquiry, but if you would like to contact me direct my e mail is

martinwarwick@blueyonder.co.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Martin
