Growing up in Brent Pelham 2 Months ago
Hello to everyone who uses this site,

Whilst trying to do some work I found your excellent website. I spent approximately 7 years of my childhood in Brent Pelham from about 1970 - 1977. My parents ( Sid and Glennis Todd) were the stud grooms at the kennels and we lived in the Lodge by the village hall, shop and church. I can remember a very hot summer and a very bad winter when hunting stopped for weeks with my parents trying to keep 15+ horses fit. I went to school with Sarah and Helen Rixon who's parent owned the shop and Andrew and Michael Taney who's father was the terrier man. I also remeber James Barclay nearly killing Sarah and I when he gave us a lift into Buntingford so we could go swimming!! I would love to hear from anyone who remebers my parents from then and once again congatulations on a very informative website.
