Hagger ancestors. 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
|
|
|
Hi,
I am researching my family ancestry, and have come to a standstill along one line circa 1820. It seems that my great great grandfather Thomas Hagger was born in Furneau (?) Pelham of Thomas and Ann Hagger. It looks as though Thomas senior was a gardener, although I have no idea whether he was employed on an estate or was a domestic gardener. Thomas junior went on to be a coachman and to live in Grosvenor Crescent Mews in the 1850's. Any ideas, guesses or mere facts would be greatly appreciated.
In suspense,
Jim.

Jim,
The Hagger family are _link_ed to the Bayfords of Furneaux Pelham. Come along on Bayford Day 13th September, at The Three Horseshoes, Spellbrook Lane East, Spellbrook Bishops Stortford CM22 7SE. we will see how we can help

Hello Jim, I am also researching my ancestors and many seem to be Furneux Pelham , one of whom is Mary Hagger 1830 who married levy warman of FP. I will see what I have on my tree that may possibly _link_ in with your, although I cant help with details, I just wanted to say that I am hunting too! kind regards Julia (I live in canterbury not in the Pelhams)

Hello Genia,
I have just seen your message to say that the Haggers are _link_ed to the Bayfords, I would like to visit FP next year as it seems a lot of my family for a number of generations came from there. I will keep an eage eye on the site to see if there are any other Bayford Open Days!, and humbly ask if I may attend, kind regards Julia Jacobs (in Canterbury,Kent) julia.jacobs2@btinternet.com looking for Nottage, Knight, Hagger, Warman, Chappell, White, all family connections from Furneux Pelham it seems!
