If you haven't noticed yet I have added a new News Section entitled Zimbabwe News.  This is a new sub-section found under the NEWS link dedicated to Cathy Buckle's letters from Zimbabwe.  I have never met her but have been receiving her emails for some years and felt it was about time I shared her news with folks in the Pelhams.  Please do not reproduce the material without Cathy's permission.

reproduced with the kind permission of the NOAA's National Weather Service At the close of the furneux festival dog show, Carol and Marie headed off at 4.30pm on the Festival Walk with Mack and Macey and found themselves in a very unusual storm.

 

At first the thunder and lightning appeared to bypass them from the Dassels/Hay street and move towards Brent Pelham, but when they got half-way between Rotten Row and Bozen Green the heavens opened and they were pelted with hail.

Molly at Horse of the Year Show 2005
We want to wish Molly Newman from Stocking Pelham all the very best this year at the Horse of the Year Show this Thursday 5th October at the NEC Birmingham.
She is competing in the Balanced Horse Feeds Mountain & Moorland 122cms Working Hunter Pony.She qualified for this at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show.  We will update you of her result as soon as we have it.
