The Treecreeper (Certhia familiaris)
The Treecreeper (Certhia familiaris)
The Treecreeper (Certhia familiaris) also known as the Eurasian treecreeper can be seen in the woods around the Pelhams.

However it rarely makes a sound and is quite hard to spot running up and down the bark of a tree.

It is small, very active, and has a long, slender, downcurved bill. It is speckly brown above and mainly white below. It breeds in the UK and is resident here. Most treecreepers range no further than 20 km. Its population is mainly stable.
