Furneux Pelham CofE School News - Feb 2006

Last term finished with a Carol Service in St Mary’s Church when the KS 2 children were joined by their parents and other family members for a service of readings and music. The standard of the singing was excellent, especially the descants. Thank you to all the staff and children. The Spring term is now under way and Sharing Assemblies have begun again. The children in Class 5 were the first to share their work. They explained about their ICT project; their work on journalistic style in Literacy; and how they made a slipper in Design and Technology.

Thank you to everyone who gave their Tesco Sports Vouchers to the school. Just over 9,000 vouchers were collected and these have been used to order equipment for rugby, rounders and cricket.
