Stocking Pelham - Hassocks Print E-mail
The inaugural meeting of the Stocking Pelham sewing group (The Sew & Sews) took place on 13th February at the Yew Tree Pub, followed by a visit to the Church in Manuden to view the wonderful variety of hassocks.
The few hassocks in our Church are in a sad and dilapidated state of repair.
Christine Franks is the guiding force and inspiration behind the new group. She has already begun a hassock to commemorate Louis Dillon’s Baptism.
She assures us that it’s very easy, therapeutic work and lots of fun. So, if anyone would like to join us, perhaps to sew a hassock to remember someone, or a special event in their life, please contact Christine (777845) or the Churchwardens.
